Hei hei- i'd say i'm pretty healthy with regards to food (eat tons of fruit and veg, not much/any junk food - although i do admit to a bit of a weakness for deserts and probably don't get enough protein.. but the past few weeks i've been feeling as weak as anything, everything is so difficult- probably because i had to stop my usual gym routine following my mother's accident, but now i feel i reallly need to get my fitness back up to 'acceptable' .. any tips from the sporty amongst you?
cheers
Ali

Is this tips for energy or tips for things to do? For energy - eat more carbs Oven chips are good, he he. Wholemeal pasta, wholemeal rice, etc. For things to do - hmm, sport? I play badminton, that's pretty good. Brisk walking is good at this time of the year, too

Ooh and for protein loads of beans and lentils. Will keep you going for hours.
As Pob said, brisk walking is good and will be an excellent way of getting you back into fitness, without pulling muscles and overdoing it.
Swimming too is good for suppleness, stamina and strength and you can't pull muscles doing that so would be ideal for a newcomer to exercise.
