Thanks for that I thought Natwest still dealt with HLS - anyone know why they stopped - is it the ethical reason or something else?

They're down to 3.5 on my customised ratings (which are biased towards animal rights).
Its cos they're rated on the whole Co-op group and they do sell some skanky stuff in their supermarkets.

It's such a bummer, I still haven't changed my bank. Think I'll go with Bank of Ireland.

Triodos are the best but they don't do a current account, just savings, and they're not internet banking either.

I am with alliance and leicester. I have had debt problems in past, and until that is sorted (18montsh to go) co-op or any of the onther ethical banks wouldn't touch me.
As soon as I am sorted though I wil switch.

My bank (Abbey) is not even listed! I think they're shite though but I can't move for a bit as I had some credit problems in the past too.

Sal, Abbey is listed in the current accounts report but its only available to subscribers. However the internet banking report is available as a trial so you should be able to see that. It lists Cahoot which is Abbey's online arm. Both are owned by Spanish bank Santander.
