So come on everyone what Festival/s are you going to this year? I am going to the Sunrise Solstice Festival down ere in the South West, gonna be a good one YAY ;D It leads up to the solstice (hence the name!) and throughout Tuesday night through to Wednesday morning there will be LOTS of celebrating with a full on Solstice celebration at dawn on Wednesday. Non stop partying through the night also from the Friday till the Wednesday!!! It is full of workshops, craft stalls, talks, fire rituals, and dancing through the night, mostly vegan/veggie food stalls, limited alcohol though which is not a prob, not for me anyway as i want to be sober enough to engulf my self in the festivies. Normaly go to Glasontbury Festival but as you probably are aware not on this year as Micheal is having a rest and most importantly giving the earth a rest!! Take a look, it is brill and only £65 for 5 days if booked on line! www.sunrisecelebration.comKid freindly too and there are hot showers at £2.00 a go!! If you have ever been to Glastonbury in the early days well this is apparently going to be like that there! Saturday night is dress up night and you can dress in anything you fancy, whatever your fantasy is. See you all there Mel

Mel I will as usual be at Stonehenge for Summer Solstice, as for Winter. Now I am old* and not living on the road, festivals are not my thing but I will I hope be gigging at The Big Chill again this year or possibly working on Big Green Radio at that gathering. Paul. *42

it'll probably run long into the night with plenty of alcohol, food, music and good vegan people ;D
i will post some info on here in the next few days - hope you are going to come ;D

As the High Druid of the British Isles, I am quite busy all year round officiating at various festivals and ceremonies. The Winter Solstice is very important to my flock but there are many other times when my presence is needed at various places to ensure the fertility of the crops and the well being of my people.

Summer and Winter Solstice at the stones, and any festival at which I may be perfoming/working. This year that will probably only be The Big Green as I am heavily involved with another project other than my usual stuff which is not performance based. 41 eh? Stripling. Px.

Mel bows her head in being in the presence of such an important person, I am a member of OBOD just studying my Bardic grade. Getting on quite well and have still 6 months to go before I do my Ovart grade.
