We'll prob do a redwoods mock turkey roast with home made roasties & veg... I'm thinking of baking a maya gold chocolate cake for pudding, served warm with vanilla swedish glace & fresh raspberries.

I always go to my sisters for Krimbo and the routine is I always take a Redwoods fake turkey roast with the little sosies wrapped in rashers, a tub of vegan marge and soya milk. She provides the veggies.
I then go to my other sisters, taking the fake turkey with me for turkey sarnies. Its very traditional ;D

Is Redwoods better than Tofurkey? I've never had Tofurkey or Unturkey. Christmas dinner this year will be, I'm sure, at the home of my sister-in-law's parents. I'm sure they'll make an effort, but it will probably be me making something for myself to take there. I don't mind, though, just excited to see my niece I have not met yet!

I found that when it is freshley cooked its ok, but if you cook it the day before and leave it wrapped in the tin foil with all the juices, it tastes so much better the following day ;D

I used to love bread sauce - Is there a vegan version or would it taste too sweet with soya milk? I seem to remember my mum infusing the onion in the milk, maybe with cloves. It was my favourite part of the whole meal. Least favourite was obviously the repulsive brussel sprouts

I'll have to bring my own roasties. My Mum always cooks them in goosefat. I'm probably going to do chestnut cottage pie for the main, and christmas-pudding flavoured vegan ice cream for pud.

Where can we get Tofurkey from? I'm looking forward to loads of roastie potatoes! a few years ago i asked at an independent healthfood shop in about oct/nov if they could order one for me, and they managed to get one but it was about £20. In the box you get tofurky drumsticks, jerky, gravy and the tofurky so not too bad i guess.
