OMG! How could I have missed this!!! *is useless and too preoccupied *. Tigs!! Poor lilly!!! Is she ok now. She sounds like shes going to be like Arnies late sister Abbey. She always had problems, but was soooo loveable.

Aww... thanks Tabi. She seems to be ok at the mo. Poor old Abbey. It's the vulnerable ones you definitely have a soft spot for eg the sickies like Abbey and Lil.

Sorry Lavender, hadn't seen this post from the last time.
Lilly is sick again. The splats and vomitting and has been doing so since yesterday. Am pretty worried now as this is getting to be a regular occurance.
Picked up the phone to call the vet just now and she stormed out the catflap before I had a chance to lock it. Typical!

Not trying to worry you or anything Tigs, but I had a cat who was on and off like this for years. It turned out she had an immune deficiency problem. (It wasnt Abbey). I seem to attract cats like this. I would find that she would be alright for a few months then it would all start again.
Poor Lil. It is so upsetting when theyre like that.

Awwwwww, you have bad luck too when it comes to cats. She's just come in as she's seen everyone else get fed, but I know if she eats she'll just vomit and bring it back up. I even tried not feeding her for 24 hrs to see if it was a tummy bug, but it hasn't worked. Got her booked in for 5.10pm this eve so will report back later. All they seem to want to do though is put her on a special Royal Canin diet when I don't think it's the food as she's been on Burn's for a month with no problems. You could be right Tabs about it being an immune problem.

Aww, por Tiggs and Lilly! It's awful when things like this happen and the cat can't tell you what's wrong. I hope they do more to find out what's wrong when you go to the vet. Sending good thoughts and vibes your way!

Thanks!
Just got back. The vet was in the dark as to what's causing her problems.
He's given her some gunk to sooth her tummy and antiinflammatories, and is going back in the morning to see them for possible tests to see what is going on if she hasn't improved.
Poor lass. No food also for her tonight.

My baby is in the vets now on a drip. She still can't keep anything down, so the vet said this morning they wanted to take her in for 24 hrs to rehydrate her and try and get her eating by tomorrow, plus take some bloods.
If she doesn't perk up they will take a biopsy of her gastric tract. Felt so sorry for her last night as all she wanted to do was snuggle under the duvet with me to keep warm. She must have been so cold not being able to eat since sunday.

Lilly came home last night, happy and full of beans.
The vets think she had a severe bout of gastironteritiis so is on a bland diet for a while till her tummy settles and they think she keeps bringing this on herself as she seems to be a scavenger going down dustbins. She has to go back in on Monday for a check up.
Was great to have her home last night. I had a very warm night last night pinned down by Lilly, Gizmo and Amy......... My 3 substitute hot water bottles!
