Another option is that we could all bring a bit of food and picnic it on the beach, combined with a burger in red veg later on. Just a thought. could someone bring some grub on my behalf as i'm hoping to be on the bike. make sure my contribution is a cake ;D Don't worry, I will do. I may even bring two .

Well I suggest that we meet in the George as it is 5 mins away from the train station. I think the picnic on the beach idea is a good one weather permitting. In the event of weather failure we can have a hearty lunch in the George if you like. Alternatively there are a myriad other decent eating places in Brighton as you all know. Presuming we don't want to spend the whole day in the pub we should set a time by which we should leave so any late arrivals know not to look for us there. Again, this time may depend on the weather. I've never been to Red Veg but from what I've heard sounds like a good place for tea. In between shopping may well take place or/and if its glorious, we can do beaches. Thats my suggestion for the day. Just to inspire us here's a pic. The weather will look like this. Or it will be moderated.

Sounds like a good plan. The beach idea doesn't seem quite as appealing since the weather turned all British on us again. Then again, a week is a long time in meteorology.
