Google has produced this "Rudy would be a term for rude boys or girls, it's just a shortened term".

Google has produced this "Rudy would be a term for rude boys or girls, it's just a shortened term". I used to have the suit, pork pie hat, black and white tie the lot. Oh the good old days. And how we used to dance ;D

I think I vaguely remember seeing the Glitterati on Kerrang, Tabs. Don't know much about these new glammy bands though, but I love Poison, Hanoi Rocks, Faster Pussycat, Cinderella etc - all the really cheesy 80's glam!!! ;D We used to go and see Hanoi Rocks years ago!. I think my husband saw them recently somewhere.

I like some of their stuff but for some reason it never grabbed me enough to buy an album - I don't know why It always surprises people too that I never liked them more than that, I must just look as though I'd like them!!

We used to go and see them all the time. The guitarist Danny used to fascinate me. He was a heroin addict, but he couldnt get through a set without throwing up. He would play with a bucket in front of him and just randomly vomit in it. At the time I thought it was funny, but it obviously wasnt

I used to be a huge fan of The Wildhearts!! They were from South Shields, which is not far from where I live. They were one of my favourite bands when I was at school.
I saw them twice, both times they were supporting AC/DC on the Ballbreaker tour in 1996. One of the gigs was in the US and they went down like a lead balloon unfortunately. The first gig was at Newcastle Arena and they were great, they even sang 'Geordie in Wonderland' :> Drug problems within the band definately was their downfall. Ginger was a fantastic songwriter though, Earth Vs the Wildhearts is still one of the best modern British rock albums imo.
I've gone all nostalgic now ;D
