I have had a really rubbish day . It just culminated in my forgetting I was running a bath and it ran out the overflow... only to find the overflow isn't attached to anything at all, and so all the water has gone through the ceiling of the downstairs loo and it is all knackered and I am selling my house at the moment and that is all just crap . And I miss Steve so much it is physically hurting. Would anyone (seriously!!) like to buy a house for about £25,000 below current market value? I'll do an insurance job on the leaky bathroom, so you won't have to worry about that. You just have to be able to buy it before Christmas so I can move to Stoke much faster;D Please?!!! *carries on sniffling in woeful sorry-for-self state*

Thanks VW I don't know when I'll next see Steve. His work is quite random and really short notice, so we never know. We just try and squeeze a visit in when we can. I think I might disappear off to bed and see if that helps, I am exhausted so a lot of feeling crap may just be tiredness. Thanks again VW

This weekend has been quite good, in spite of tempratures which have dropped rapidly to match the season and the late buses during our commutes.
My wife & I went to do some shopping, talked a lot, took some pictures.
I also have been very active in editing & expanding my autobiography, on which my wife have helped a lot.
I made a few phone calls to friends & our talked have deepened our friendship, for which I'm very happy & greatful for.
Tomorrow, back to work, but in 2 weeks, I'll be on holidays, YAY I really need them to decompress & pursue my writing.

i have done loads in the garden getting ready for winter, dug up loads of spuds and picked the pears today. also built the loft hatch entrance after cutting a hole in the ceiling last weekend ;D
managed to do some work and also get a ride in on the bike.
been a very chilled weekend, the first in a long time i haven't actually been out/away.
The chaos to xmas starts next weekend i am now fully booked, i think the only free weekend until xmas is 18th nov

Went to work for half 6 this morning, then came home, got changed and went to the cinema to see Borat at the cinema with the OH.
Then we went up to Central London to Planet Organic for a lovely vegan meal, then off for a coffee afterwards.
Now off to bed, as am up at 6am again for work tomorrow, so better get some sleep.
All in all a pretty good day.

Im going back to Essex today. Its a really funny feeling going back. It doesnt feel like going home. Im going to see my youngest son (aka Spawn), my mum and Arnie boy and my best friend Annie. I wanted Pob to come but he cant today My worlds still dont quite meet. I am happy here in Kent, I just wish someone would move Essex nearer, like 5 minutes down the road, so Steve could come round and I could cook him dinner and he could stay over if he wanted. I will take him to dinner after school, but first I will drive him "home" so he can get changed. The house hasnt felt like home for a long while so it doesnt make me sad going in there. There are no animals there any more, nothing making it welcoming. Abbey has long since died, Arnie is with my mum and Ringo passed away the other day. Nothing left to make it welcoming. When I leave Essex tonight it will be dark. I will drive carefully home but as soon as I reach a particular point and I recognise that I am about 10 minutes from our home I will speed up a bit and I feel so relieved when I put the key in the look and I am back! Pob will be there and I will hug him and it will be ok again. That will be my day. In between people I love, which is nice, but much too much distance between them.

How long does it take you to drive to Essex? Hope you have a lovely day with your son, friend and mum. I know what you mean about a house not feeling like home. I used to live with a man for 4 years. I had to go around a few times to sort things out after i left and it was very odd. It just felt empty. I was pleased to see my dog who i missed terribly but i couldnt take him with me as my ex loved him so much and i didnt want to take everything from him. Its odd how nothing has changed but it is all so different........ Have a good drive and i hope it isnt upseting for you hun.

Depends on traffic. Probably just over an hour, although sometimes you can do it in under. Not too bad really.

Am exhausted!
Got back from the cinema late last night after going to see White Noise 2 with the other half.
Done lots of dog walking, gone to the gym, gone to see my mum and taken her out to Noodle Bar for a Chinese (lots of vegan options there!) and taken her to Tescos to help her do the weekly shop.
Now back home, munching through a giant fruit salad, and feeding the animals. Gonna take the dogs out for a quick stroll then off to midnight bowling!
