We are free on the weekends of 18th October and 25th October. I think it would be lovely to go for a drink/meal in Notts area (or anywhere reasonably near that area). If anyone fancies this, please put some dates. We are pretty flexible and could probably make other dates though.

...and I found this www.vegan-nottingham.co.uk/The Lantong Thai mentioned in there is truly wonderful, the food is brill and the owners are dead friendly. Sorry, I realised I should probably contribute to this discussion as it is being suggested for my benefit (thanks Tabs ;D) If you are thinking of East Midlands generally might be worth thinking about Leicester, many veggie curry houses...

Great! I think we should go with a recommendation and if you think the Thai is nice, we should go there!.
Does everyone like Thai or would youse prefer curry places?
If Puff is going to come, might a lunchtime be better because she will have to get back for the Pufflets? If its lunchtime we could go to Newstead Abbey for a walk! *is quite selfish* ;D

Thats a shame Tails! I was hoping you would come and bring Conor. Is Rustingdon anywhere near Worthing? My aunt used to have a b&b in Rustingdon. I remember there being a lot of foreign exchange students there. When I was young, I couldnt understand why she had so many rooms and why she wouldnt let me go in any of them. Its only a few years ago when I mentioned this that my mother looked at me witheringly and said "you fool! it was b&b". ;D No one said!..... She made lovely roast dinners with spinach and bread sauce. Bless her. Auntie Gin I called her. Her name was Gertrude though. See. This is why I was banned from Vegan Forum! For taking threads off topic. Its a disease I have...... "offtopicitis"

Am here. Just to say the Thai place isn't open at lunchtimes, only evenings. There is of course the Alley Cafe which does top nosh.
I'm easy with dates, its not like I have a packed diary. I'd be up for a visit to Newstead, we can get the train.
