What camera do you use veggie? I've actually just bought a new one. The above ones of Durham and the moon one are from me nice shiny new Olympus E500 DSLR and, all others so far are my old Kodak DX6490, which is still a very good little camera. Check me website for more, I'm quite proud of my black and white ones, again done on the DSLR and Photoshopped a bit. I have seen your website before, some good pictures on it. I went for the Cannon EOS 350D. Media was a pain because the fps depends on the speed of the media Yes more expence, went for the scan disk 1.0gb card. Couple of hundred cheaper than when I got it but it was worth the money. www.canon.co.uk/for_home/product_finder/cameras/digital_slr/eos_350d/index.asp

My mates got a 350D. I was thinking of getting one but theres a load of special offers on the Olymbus (2 lenses, CF card, case etc) so I went for that. I think the 350D is a better camera but theres not a lot in it and I reckon I saved around £150-200 over an equivalent 350D package.
I like your paintings, can I suggest you start a proper 'art' thread?

The picture above is for her GCSE exams and is not finished yet. It is a picture of a MS sufferer, with some artistic impression. The model does suffer from MS as well. She has her art on some cds. Strange to walk into HMV and see your little girls art on the wall. Proud day. She has just turned 16. I think I will start an art thread if thats ok with everyone.

You can start any threads you like you know ;D And I'm sure people will appreciate more of the same.

Its interesting you should say that, cos I spent a significant amount of time weighing the issue up and came to the exact opposite conclusion ;D. I like the lack of symmetry. also, making both clock faces colour would have involved another layer!

What about showing the two contrasts?Say one whole side in colour and the other BW? I like the photo, I love buildings so to day i am going to go out and phot some in our area. We do boast the highest cathedral spire in the country, one I climbed in a protest, so I will see if I get some good conditions. I have tryed the same angle but the front of the building is swampped whith three so I have been waiting for the sun coming throught at the right time. Starting to get some sunny day but misty. Oh the weather. You have some great photos on your site by the way.

Thanks for the compliment. I might well have a go at what you're suggesting re the B+W/colour mix.
You got any photos of you shinning up the cathedral tower? You so have to stick them up here if you have!

No I haven't. It's a long story. They had to close the whole center off for the day. The vicor wouldn't prosicute so the sectioned me!!! I was locked up for hours until the doctor came to put the final stamp on my fate ;D
He had a good laugh with me and that was it, they had no further right to hold me.
I must have been drunk when I posted they last one.
It was on the local new so I will see if I can find some footage. The radio said the hot weather has turned people mad.
Yep, I climbed to the very top.
Yes look forward to seeing the picture.

Thank you. I'm using Photoshop Elements Squirrel.
Puffin, if you look in the links section of my little website (I just can't stop those shameless plugs ;D) there are a couple of links to some photo websites, one of which (DP Review) is about the most comprehensive camera buying guide I know, should help you chose.
