No fair!!! I want to go! Have told hubby that I'm defo going next year no matter what!!! think it takes 3 hours by train I want to come to Cornwall. I went years ago with the kids. It was beautiful. Cant remember which part. Only thing that spoilt it was the kids fighting with each other in public. Then my ex fighting with the kids. Was like that scene from the Simpsons where Homer gets Bart round the throat and goes "Why you little......!!!!" ;D Wish you could come Chickpea! Can you get to London if we have a meet up there? Or a VBB party in Gloucester? ooops. There I go again. Arranging parties at other peoples houses.....

Morning Tabs! hey how do you do that quote thingey??? I cant work it out I live in Newquay, did you go North Cornwall or South? LOL! at the visions of your ex throttling the kids!!!!! although I'm sure it must have been so stressful at the time, Amelie had a full on tantrum in the newsagents yesterday, the kind of tantrum where they throw themselves on the floor and lash out at you when you try and pick them up! I would LOVE to come to London and meet everybody, maybe one day when Piers (husband) has got his head around me being Vegan! and one of VBB parties sounds really good!! I LOVE to party!!! I'm definitely coming to the Bristol Faye thingey next year, will bring Amelie and leave Piers at home! ;D hehe I cant wait to hear what you all got up to! ahhh I'm so jealous

Just click on quote in the right hand corner (where it says quote, modify and delete) and post your bit right at the end after the word "quote". I dont know how to quote lil bits of text though. Perhaps someone will tell us!

To quote a little bit of text, copy it from the original (highlight it and press Ctrl c). Paste it into your reply (Ctrl v). Then highlight it and click this icon --> from the selection above the reply box.

I've just been looking at trains to Bristol. I don't understand the timetables and I can't afford the fares *sulks in corner*.

This should help you with the first problem Minx. And if you check out advance single fares you often get cheap deals. www.nationalrail.co.uk/

I already looked at that website, and I can't buy in advance as I have no bank account or anything like that.

You need to join up at a college on a part time course, then get a NUS student card and a young persons railcard - saves 1/3 off fares. I have a card and didnt get round to booking cheapo tickets so paying £25 return Ive managed to get a young persons card for about 12 years now - at 34 now and still manage it! Coaches are also an option often cheaper - national express. Friends are going to London from Birmingham for £2 return in August

Hmm, I wonder if I could get one of my parents to give me a life to Reading rail station? Then I could catch a train to Bristol .

Well , I went yesterday - Sunday and WOW what a day . The weather was gorgeous , the music was great too, apart from them playing a Brian Ferry song which prob wasnt a good idea but I don't think too many people noticed the relevance. The Beat were fab and nice to see his son following in his dads footsteps. Got loads of freebies, inc books and DVDs ( I had to make 3 trips back to my car to unload them all ) and made some good contacts. Got my book signed by Keith Mann which was fab, he is such a lovely man. Chatted to Mel and Amanda , Went to go and listen to the talk by Greg Avery and then realised he wouldnt be there for obvious reasons . It was really nice to be surrounded once again by so many like minded people. Cant wait for next year. I am going to see if the my group can have a stall there next year which will be exciting stuff. Anyone else go? ;D
