I would imagine quite a few members of this forum drive and own a car.
However... How green is your car and do you think that vegans automatically look for a car with less emissions, being that alot of vegan issues and environmental issues are closely linked.
I drive a little 1.2l Renault Clio, so luckily is pretty good on fuel, so not tooooooooo bad for the environment. It's a flaming nightmare to park though as it has no power steering!
Who's next?

Mazda 323, bit of a gas guzzler with a 1.6ltr engine but when you're knackered all the time yea dinnea want long journey's to take any longer than they have to. Does look like summat that should be parked outside the pigeon club but goes like shit off a shovel, ABS & power steering so it's niiiiice to drive... fancy an Audi A3 next time but doubt I'd have the pennies. Tbh I'm not very good at researching an environmentally car, I don't have the spare energy *waits for the villagers to throw rocks*

We have two cars Mine is a 1.1 Saxo - not too bad, I guess. Other is a 1.0 Yaris - pretty good efficiency. But I would have to say we both have only been driving a few years.

Oh i love cars. I have a Subaru Legacy GT. It is very nice and i love it but it is rather heavy on the fuel The thing is it isnt used for hundreds of miles a day. I only travel to work and the supermarket most weeks and i only work 7 miles away. I used to bike all the time but i wouldnt bike 7 miles down a country lane at night.

Thanks bobby. Yes it does go very fast. I try to only use the one turbo though and save the other for over taking slow people ;D Yes it is fantastic at sticking to the road. The all wheel drive is great, i would probably lose it in front/rear wheel drive. (umm puffin runs because she sounds like a boy racer)
Well i use it more at the weekend just to blow the cobwebs of it, but use it in the week when i really need to.

I drive a 2.2ltr turbo diesel Toyota Avensis. nice car bit boring, but does about 50 miles to the gallon, so not too bad. I chose it over the Honda Accord as honda only do the accord with leather interior. Driving is my major bad habit i average 1000miles a week i also drive a 750cc motorcycle that does between 25 - 40 to the gallon depending what mood im in ;D

I've got a 1.4 fiesta diesel which manages 50 mpg and is in band B for emissions. It gets plenty of use as I do around 500 miles a week, not quite so bad as veganbikerboy ;D
