It is very true that these tests don't measure intelligence accurately, all they are is a bit of fun and they do tell you if if you are good at IQ tests, but there are a number of different areas of intelligence NOT measured by these tests, so don't anyone think they are thick just for not being good at them!

I think some of the answers were wrong anyway. I remember one question that none of the answers seemed to fit. Something like "True knowledge is knowing that you know...." Did anyone know the correct answer? I just guessed at that one. Also the one about the cars driving in different directions didn't make much sense as it didn't explain whether the distance apart was 'as the crow flies' or the way they had driven

The one about cars was pretty much basic Pythagoras Theorem, I'm sure you had to assume they were travelling in straight lines then at right angles when they both turned left, remembering they were travelling in the exact opposite directions. It took me a minute or two to work out the answer, not as quick as some of the other questions which only took a few seconds.
I put that true knowledge was knowing that you know nothing.
But the one I did not understand at all was what number did John like? I just guessed that one. Thinking back it might have been that he only liked numbers that were square numbers. Grrr. Off to try again and see if I can totally cheat and beat Pob's score now.
I want to be the evil genius around here!! Mwahahahaha!
I'm actually pretty useless at everything except IQ tests, which is sad really.

I remember doing pythagoruras theorum but its so long ago, I can't even remember what it is I drew out the paths of the cars then chose the most likely answer. The knowing nothing answer is silly because everyone knows some things, then again all the other answers were silly too.

I'm going to bore you all silly now! Pythagoras Theorem: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pythagorean_theoremI never coped very well with calculus though, the more complicated maths like calculus used to make my head explode.. almost The "nothing" answer I put might have been wrong anyway! I don't know.

The knowing nothing answer is silly because everyone knows some things, then again all the other answers were silly too. It was a proverb that you had to recognise.

I'm a bit of a free-der (free reader) when it comes to the Sun. If there is one sitting on a train left behind I confess to picking it up and having a browse although I would never normally read it. I suppose it's a bit like being a freegan really. My free-derism embarrasses hubby though as he would never even pick up the Sun, he says it feels dirty! I'm planning on reading Keith Mann's book properly soon, as I don't read very much, I'm very lazy.

I must confess, I have read and enjoyed the sun in the past My Grandparents used to read it when they were alive. I stopped reading it though because there were often reports on animal cruelty cases which would upset me. I do enjoy reading about the private lives of celebs though ;D

I hate maths too Maisie, I used to feel sick before every maths lesson at school, our teacher was horrid and he made you work everything out in front of the whole class, my mind used to go completely blank. Plus my art teacher didn't like me because she thought I was unsociable because I sat by myself, might have something to do with the fact that I was being bullied the silly moo! Oh dont know where that little rant came from, must be still angry about it!
